Kolkata Knight Riders are back to their home after three weeks and ready to welcome Lucknow Super Giants at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday (April 14).
The Knights and the Giants have faced each other on three occasions and the latters have absolute dominance over the Knights by winning all of the matches they played. In their last match, LSG clinched the match by winning by a margin of 1 run.

Vaibhav Arora (KKR): The 27-year-old Indian pacer bagged 13 wickets in 12 matches. In this season Arora claimed 5 wickets in just two matches with an impressive economy rate of 6.88. It will be a great opportunity for the right-arm fast bowler to prove his mettle as there is a dearth of quality fast bowlers in the Knight squad.
Andre Russell (KKR): For several years, the Caribbean big batter has been a pillar of the KKR club. Russell, noted for his explosive batting performances, is also a regular bowler for KKR. His right-arm medium-fast bowling has previously assisted the Knights in plenty of vital situations. This season, the 36-year-old veteran claimed five wickets in four matches.
Ravi Bishnoi (LSG): The 24-year-old right-arm legspinner has a decent career in IPL so far. Bishnoi claimed 57 wickets in IPL till now. In this season the youngster bagged 4 wickets in 5 matches. In the spin-friendly pitch of Eden Gardens, he is expected to put in a decent performance.
The visitors are expected to be confident about the fixture against KKR, as they won their last match while KKR’s winning streak came to a halt against CSK. Also, the records against the Knights will give LSG some extra moral boost. But KKR also tries their best to win the battle to remain one step ahead in the race to the playoffs.
