Kolkata Knight Riders are set to lock horns with Mumbai Indians in an important IPL 2024 match on Saturday (May 11) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
KKR currently occupying the top spot of the table with 16 points in 11 matches. Mumbai Indians are the first team of the IPL who are already eliminated from the tournament.

The Knight Riders secured a crucial victory over Lucknow Super Giants in the last match and have now won three matches in a row. Mumbai also managed to win their last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but that wasn't enough to eliminate them from the IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking to go with the same team from last match. The balance of the team is excellent the players are in terrific form. Hence they won't be looking to change the tactics ahead of the match. This is also going to be KKR's final home match, hence they would be desperate to end with a win.
Mumbai may rest some of their World Cup bound players for this match. The likes of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav may play, but Jasprit Bumrah can be rested for this clash. Piyush Chawla can also be dropped and Kumar Kartikeya can come in for the Paltans. They used only two foreign players in the last match, but if opportunity arrives, we may see them giving Dewald Brevis a crack against the Knight Riders.
