Rohit Sharma has got decent numbers with the bat in IPL 2024, and the Mumbai Indians star batter will look to add more to his tally when he faces Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday (May 11) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Rohit has scored a total of 330 runs so far this season, including an unbeaten 105 off 63 balls for Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings. But that knock came in a defeat. He also scored 36 off 25 in the victory over Punjab Kings.

The former skipper of the joint-record champions, who had scored 49 off 27 in the victory over Delhi Capitals, continued his form with a 24-ball knock of 38 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Mumbai.
The 36-year-old had made 43 off 29 balls versus Gujarat Titans and followed that with a 12-ball 26 in a high-scoring game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but has had some disappointing outings in several other matches this season.
Rohit got 6 off 5 against Rajasthan Royals. It was his second failure against RR, who had removed him for a golden duck, which also equalled an IPL record for most ducks. He has since registered scores of 8, 4, 11 and 4 against DC, LSG, KKR and SRH respectively.
The star India batter, who is set to captain the Indian T20 World Cup squad, will look to get some more runs under his belt against a team he has amassed over 1000 runs. Here is a look at Rohit Sharma record against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL:
Rohit has had decent numbers against the Kolkata-based side, but had a forgetful outing on his debut representing Deccan Chargers in 2008 when he scored a 3-ball duck. He, however, made useful contributions against KKR in the next few innings, scoring a century in his 8th innings.
Overall, Rohit has scored 6541 runs, including 2 hundreds and 42 fifties in 250 innings at a strike rate of 131.03. Against KKR, Rohit has amassed 1051 runs, including 6 fifties and 1 century, in 33 innings at a strike rate around 130 in IPL. Here is a look at Rohit's stats vs KKR:
For MI vs KKR, Rohit has scored 935 runs including 5 fifties in 27 innings at a strike rate of 129.68. He has smashed 33 sixes and hit 90 fours during those 27 innings for MI against the Kolkata-based side in IPL since his arrival at the five-time champions in 2011.
Among the current KKR bowlers, only Sunil Narine has had the number on Rohit in the past fixtures between the two teams in IPL. Here is a look at Rohit's record vs KKR bowlers:
Rohit could also be troubled by other KKR bowlers, including Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora in Saturday’s match. But his decent numbers at the Kolkata venue could be a worry for any bowling attack. Here is a look at Rohit’s stats at the Eden Gardens:
