KKR vs PBKS Dream11 prediction: Kolkata Knight Riders will be fighting to keep themselves in the fight for the playoffs as they take on rivals Punjab Kings in match no 53 of IPL 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Monday.

Both the teams are separated by two points as Punjab Kings are holding the seventh place with 10 points and their last encounter this IPL saw Shikhar Dhawan and his side prevail over the Men in Purple by seven wickets in a match affected by rain.

Injury updates Kolkata Knight Riders have added Charles Johnson in their squad in place of Litton Das, who left the squad earlier. Punjab Kings have no injury concerns ahead of the game.

KKR: (Jason Roy, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy) Jason Roy has been in good form with two half-centuries in three innings while Rinku Singh has consistently performed with the bat. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Nitish Rana, and Venkatesh Iyer have scored runs as well but their consistency is a concern. Andre Russell has been crucial with both bat and ball recently.

Varun Chakravarthy is leading the bowling attack with 14 wickets so far while young pacers Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora have impressed off late when senior pacers have flopped this season. Sunil Narine is struggling to pick wickets as well while Shardul Thakur returned to form with two dismissals in the last game.

PBKS: (Liam Livingstone, Shikhar Dhawan, Jitesh Sharma) Liam Livingstone is in good form while Shikhar Dhawan looked in good touch for the first time since his return from injury. Jitesh Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh have played some good knocks but their consistency remains in question. Matt Short, Shahrukh Khan, and Sam Curran provide further batting depth.

PBKS bowlers have conceded a lot of runs in the last two games with the likes of Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada going for plenty. Nathan Ellis, however, did well in the last game with two wickets.

Pitch Report Eden Gardens pitch has been batting friendly with some help for pacers early on, especially in the second innings. However, spinners have done well at the venue as well.
