Punjab Kings scored 179/7 in their 20 overs. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan scored 57 off 47 balls, while Jitesh Sharma (21 off 18) and Shahrukh Khan (21 off 8) also played two decent cameos. KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the pick of the bowlers for them with 3 wickets.

Chasing 180, KKR had a decent start with Jason Roy and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. After their departure, KKR skipper Nitish Rana (51 off 38 balls) took them closer to victory. Shikhar Dhawan (PBKS Captain): "It feels bad, of course not feeling great. Not an easy track to bat on, but they played really well. It was a great effort from Arshdeep, the way he has bounced back from the last game. All credit to him that he took the game to the last ball."

Andre Russell (Player of the Match): "Yes I was waiting for pace. Ball was gripping. Once we needed 20 off 2, it was very gettable. We always knew we had the advantage and happy that we got over the line."

(on his Batting) "I flicked one surprisingly in the stands, I didn't swing but was happy that it went to the stands. There was a little chaos with the run out but very proud of Rinku, we've got a finisher in him. When we have Rinku at the end, I am not worried. I have confidence in him, and with the angle coming into him, it was easy for him."

(on Rinku Singh) "I get goosebumps seeing him and what he is doing. It's not just me. He has been here for years and he has so much more to give. Very disciplined guy and a very funny guy. You can't have a dull moment with him. We're good friends."
