Kolkata Knight Riders are in desperate territory at the moment. The KKR side managed to keep themselves afloat in the tournament after their latest win over SRH. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, lost against MI in the last match and will need a victory to get themselves back in the reckining.
The PBKS side won the reverse encounter between the two teams earlier. Shikhar Dhawan, the PBKS captain, has been excellent for them and will be pivotal in the upcoming match as well. KKR also need to be consistent at home, as they have already lost three out of their four matches this season so far.
But we reckon the Knight Riders do possess enough quality to prevail over the Kings. It looks like KKR will get the two points and get themselves level on points with PBKS.
The two teams have met 31 times in the IPL. The Knight Riders have 20 matches out of them, while the Kings have registered 11 wins.
