Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will look to bounce back from a home loss and do the double over strugglers Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in match 36 on IPL 2024 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday (April 21).
Shreyas Iyer-led KKR head into the match on the back of a stunning 2-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals in their most recent outing, while Faf Du Plessis’ RCB are also coming into the game on the back of 25-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad on a record-breaking night in Bengaluru.

KKR, who opened their campaign with good batting performances in wins over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals, faced their first defeat of the season at the hands of Chennai Super Kings, but responded with a win over Lucknow Super Giants, before going down to RR.
Tenth-placed RCB, on the other hand, had bounced back to season-opening loss against CSK with a victory over Punjab Kings, but have since suffered back to back defeats to KKR, Mumbai Indians, RR, LSG and most recently against SRH.
