KKR vs RCB IPL 2023: Match Prediction

The tie between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore promises to be an exciting encounter. Over the years, KKR have the edge over their Thursday opponents as the Knights have won 16 out of 30 meetings between them.

But the tale this season is a bit different. KKR have made a poor start and are enduring a lot of issues in their squad while RCB look settled and started fantastically. Although Knights will play at Eden Gardens, there are ample RCB fans in the city of joy courtesy of Virat Kohli.

KKR's overseas stars need to fire against a strong RCB side as Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will be crucial for them. KKR's record against RCB at home is excellent though and they will be banking on that to get over the line and get off the mark this season. RCB, on the other side, are confident and will be keen to turn the tables at the Gardens.

Considering all things in mind, we believe KKR still have the slightest of advantages as they play at home and historically they have emphatically utilized home conditions.

KKR vs RCB Win Probability

Kolkata Knight Riders Win Probability - 55%

Royal Challengers Bangalore Win Probability - 45%

N.B. The win probability is based on the previous meeting history, current form and squad strength of the two sides. No such mathematical method has been used here and it is only an assumption of the writer.
