It’s time for round 3 as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) battle for the title in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday (May 26).
Shreyas Iyer-led KKR, who had qualified for the playoffs as the table-toppers, booked their final berth with a thumping 8-wicket win over Pat Cummins’ SRH in Qualifier 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (May 21).

SRH, who finished second in the points table, made great use of a second shot at reaching the final as they overcame Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in Qualifier 2 at the Chennai venue on Friday (May 24) to reach the summit clash.
KKR will be confident taking on SRH, whom they also defeated by 4 runs in the league stage earlier this season. The Kolkata-based side also carry a brilliant overall record against the Hyderabad-based outfit heading into their 28th meeting in IPL. Here is a look at SRH vs KKR stats.
