Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran was a pensive figure at the Narendra Modi Stadium as her team had a nightmarish start against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 1 match.

SRH chose to bat first and started in the worst fashion possible. Travis Head was uprooted by Mitchell Starc in the second ball of the innings, and Abhishek Sharma also fell shortly after scoring just 3 runs.

KKR were on top of the Sunrisers batters in the entire powerplay as the Orange Army lost 4 wickets. Although they formed a decent partnership with Rahul Tripathi and Heinrich Klaasen, the match swung in KKR's favour again as the latter was held in the deep by Rinku Singh.

As the camera panned to Kavya Maran, the SRH owner was captured in a pensive mood. There were celebrations galore at the KKR camp, and contrastingly, a poignant mood in the Hyderabad camp.

Kavya Maran, who is known for her immense attachment with SRH, is a popular figure on social media. And her pensive mood caused empathy in fans' mind, who were not happy to see their favourite personality in a gloomy state.

Although the pitch was pretty decent to bat on, the application from the SRH batters was not as you expect it.

SRH were finally bowled out for 159 runs. The winner of this match will advance straight to the final, while the losing team will have another crack in the Qualifier 2.
