Delhi Capitals and India star, KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty have been blessed with a baby girl on Monday, 24th March. Rahul, who didn't feature in the IPL 2025 match between DC and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) was with his wife for the birth of his child.

Athiya, who is a Bollywood actress shared the good news on Instagram. Rahul also shared on his social media platforms.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty first crossed paths in January 2019 through a mutual friend, and their connection was immediate. Their bond grew stronger over time, leading to a romantic relationship that lasted for several years. In 2023, the couple took their vows in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty's picturesque farmhouse in Khandala, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

In November last year, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul delighted their fans and followers by announcing some joyous news on Instagram. The couple shared a heartfelt joint note revealing the upcoming addition to their family. The announcement read, "Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025." Alongside the message, they included an adorable visual of tiny feet and an evil eye, symbolizing protection and positivity. Athiya, the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, added a white heart emoji to the post, making the moment even more special.
