'Kohli Bacche Easy Ho Ja': When Pakistan's World Cup 2023 Star Messaged Virat After His Fight With Naveen-ul-Haq

Virat Kohli's IPL 2023 fight with Naveen-ul-Haq was the talk of the town. Gautam Gambhir's involvement added only fuel to the fire and the dust settled only recently when Kohli and Naveen hugged each during the India vs Afghanistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Delhi.

The gesture by Kohli and Naveen was appreciated by all. Naveen-ul-Haq later even called Virat Kohli a "a nice guy and a good player". The bowler endured a lot of sledging from the Indian fans on the field and on the ground after that on-field spat in Lucknow.

The altercation had even garnered attention among current Pakistan players, opening batter Imam-ul-Haq revealed while talking on Honest Hour Podcast. Imam was asked about the friendship between Virat Kohli and Shadab Khan, and the social media memes featuring them, when he revealed about the incident.

When Agha Salman Messaged Virat Kohli On Instagram

He revealed that Agha Salman had messaged Virat Kohli on Instagram and asked him to cool down. Imam-ul-Haq said the message was brought to Kohli's notice by Shadab Khan when they met during the Asia Cup 2023.

"Virat Kohli fought with an Afghanistan bowler Naveen-ul-Haq. It was an intense fight which continued even after the match. Gautam Gambhir was also involved. Virat Kohli was very angry. Agha Salman messaged Virat Kohli through Instagram, saying, 'Kohli bacche easy ho ja, kya ho gaya hai' (Kohli, Kid calm down).

"He either said 'Kohli bhai easy ho jao' or 'Kohli bacche easy ho ja'. He definitely said one of these. He wanted him to cool down and not fight. Shadab Khan revealed this to Kohli. Kohli said he would reply to the message and make it public what Agha Salman was messaging him," Imam-ul-Haq said on the podcast.

As per Imam-ul-Haq, Kohli jokingly said that he would reply to Agha Salman's message and make him and his message viral.

"Main tujhe reply kar k na abhi tujhe viral karta hu, ki ye mujhe aise message bhej raha hai (I will reply to him, and make him viral)," Virat Kohli had said to Shadab Khan as per Imam.

Imam-ul-Haq praised Virat Kohli and called him a fun-loving person. He said that India and Pakistan have played a lot in the last couple of years and that has brought the players close.
