"Absolutely smashing meal at Ministry of Crab last night. Thank You @MahelaJay and @KumarSanga2 :)," Kohli wrote on his Twitter page today (Wednesday).

Ministry of Crab was opened in 2012 and former skippers Sangakkara and Jayawardene have plans to bring it to India as well.

"Ministry of Crab is a maiden innings for me & I hope this partnership with my long time batting partner Kumar & our new coach Dharshan will be a knockout. Hope you all will be bowled over :)," Jayawardene said on the restaurant's website.

"Welcome. Ministry of Crab is a celebration of Sri Lanka; our heritage and our wonderfully fresh and diverse ingredients. For me, this is the realisation of my dream to be part of a culinary experience that I hope will enthral your taste buds and leave you happy, and wanting more. Enjoy," said Sangakkara, who will retire from international cricket after the 2nd Test against India this month.

The first Test starts in Galle on August 12.
