With IPL 2024 on the horizon, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be hoping to resurrect their status in the tournament after a couple of seasons without playoff qualification.

KKR do have a strong squad for IPL 2024, which was bolstered by the acquisition of Mitchell Starc in the auction. They are also set to welcome back Shreyas Iyer, as the Indian batter is set to lead the team again this year after missing out last season with a back injury.

KKR will kickstart their IPL 2024 campaign with a home match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23.

Kolkata Knight Riders have a decent squad for this upcoming IPL 2024 season. KKR have the likes of Andre Russell and Sunil Narine in the team, who have been their mainstays for a long time. They also replaced Jason Roy with Philip Salt. Among the Indian players, Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey and Varun Chakravarthy will be the key for them.

Andre Russell (35 y 336 d): Andre Russell has been a legend at KKR. The dashing all-rounder is the oldest player in the squad, and perhaps the biggest factor for them in this season. Russell, with his hard-hitting prowess, will be a pivotal part of the team.

Sunil Narine (35 y 300 d): The mystery of Sunil Narine has been a force for KKR over the years. Narine has been a stellar figure in the T20 format, and as the twilight years of his career approaches, Narine would be keen to bring back the glory days of KKR again.

Manish Pandey (34 y 193 d): Manish Pandey has returned to the KKR fold this year in the auction. The Indian batter has been associated with KKR for a long time and was part of their IPL 2014-winning side.
