KKR Boost Playoff Push In IPL 2026 As Finn Allen & Cameron Green Lead Top-Four Charge
Kolkata Knight Riders made it four wins in a row in the TATA IPL 2026, beating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets and reviving their season. Speaking on Star Sports' "Amul Cricket Live" as a JioStar expert, Aditya Tare highlighted their renewed momentum and balanced bowling.
Tare said on JioStar duty that KKR have "turned their season around when it mattered the most" after losing five games in a row. He pointed to their spin attack "coming back to life" and a pace unit now taking regular wickets as key factors in the surge.

The JioStar expert noted that Finn Allen and Cameron Green look in strong touch with the bat. He felt KKR now "have started to fire together as a unit" and will "fancy their chances of getting into the race for the top four."
Delhi Capitals' middle order under scrutiny
Tare dissected Delhi Capitals' collapse, saying their middle order "put them under too much pressure" and showed "a clear lack of intent." He highlighted a stretch of only 10 runs off 30 balls in the middle overs, unusually passive for T20 cricket.
According to Tare on JioStar, KKR's spinners "completely dominated those middle overs and never let the game slip." He praised Ashutosh Sharma's late hitting for helping Delhi "salvage some respectability" after that passive period left them short of a competitive total.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi's fearless style in focus
Tare described Vaibhav Suryavanshi as a "fearless prodigy" with a high-risk power play game. The JioStar expert said Suryavanshi "attacks from the very first ball" and recalled his century against Gujarat Titans in Jaipur last season, urging him to bat longer and trust that innings.
On the Gujarat Titans, Tare said batting coach Matthew Hayden is working with Rahul Tewatia and Washington Sundar to close games sooner. He felt GT chases "get tighter than it should," wasting strong starts, though their pace options and Rashid Khan's spin bowling look well settled.
