Bengaluru, Aug 10: India Test opener KL Rahul went unsold at this year's Karnataka Premier League (KPL) Twenty20 tournament's Players' Auction here today (August 10).
Rongsen Jonathan, Railways Ranji Trophy batsman and Prateek Jain, left-arm fast bowler went for the highest bids as 219 cricketers went under the hammer at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium premises on Wednesday. (Last year's list of players sold)

Jonathan, who played for Belagavi Panthers last season, was snapped up by Mysuru Warriors for a whopping Rs 3.5 lakh. Prateek, who was with Hubli Tigers in 2015, was purchased by Bellary Tuskers for a similar amount.
With KPL 2016, the 5th edition, set to be held from September 16 to October 1, Rahul will be unavailable as India host New Zealand from September 22 in a 3-Test series. With this in mind, the teams did not buy the right-hander.
