Bengaluru, Feb 24: The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is inviting Indian Army personnel to watch the 2nd Test between India and Australia here at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The match will be played in Bengaluru from March 4 to 8 and KSCA has invited Indian Army personnel for the final 3 days of the match.

Vinay Mruthyunjaya, spokesperson of KSCA, said that the association is inviting over 5,000 Indian Army personnel to witness the Test match on March 6, 7 and 8 (3rd, 4th and 5th days of the Test).
"The Army personnel under the Headquarters of Karnataka and Kerala Sub-Area of Indian Army will be witnessing the match for free in Bangalore.
"And the Indian Army Soldiers will be in addition to the 15,000 schoolchildren who are being invited for the Test match," Vinay said.
Among the schoolchildren invited most of them will be underprivileged.
Pioneer Corps Training Centre Miltary band will playing the band to entertain the school children duirng the Test Match at lunch and tea breaks.
Meanwhile, KSCA will open their offline Box Office sale of tickets at the stadium on Saturday and Sunday (February 25, 26) from 10 AM to 6 PM. On both days only the season tickets will be sold.
"The season tickets are priced Rs 500 upwards and will enable the ticket holder to watch the entire Test match for all the five days," Vinay said.
