Kuldeep Yadav Slaps Rinku Singh After DC-KKR Clash, Sparks Huge Buzz: WATCH Viral Video

DC vs KKR: A light-hearted post-match moment between Indian cricketers Kuldeep Yadav and Rinku Singh took social media by storm on Tuesday following the IPL 2025 clash between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

In a video that has since gone viral, Kuldeep was seen slapping Rinku twice on the face-seemingly in jest-as both players shared a laugh with teammates. The clip quickly triggered curiosity among fans, who were initially puzzled before realising it was all in good humour.

The incident highlighted the close friendship between Kuldeep and Rinku, who are known to share a strong bond from their time with the national team. Rinku, unfazed by the gesture, responded with a smile, reinforcing the playful nature of the exchange.

Earlier in the evening, Rinku had played a key role in Kolkata's innings, scoring a quickfire 36 off 25 balls. His contribution helped KKR post a formidable 204-run total after being put in to bat. The left-handed batter was dismissed in the 18th over by Delhi leg-spinner Vipraj Nigam, just when he looked set to accelerate further.

Delhi Capitals began the chase positively and appeared in control for much of the innings. However, the turning point came in the 14th over when Sunil Narine delivered a match-defining spell. The West Indian spinner removed Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs in the same over, derailing Delhi's momentum and shifting the game firmly in Kolkata's favour.

In the end, KKR sealed a 14-run win-an important result that keeps their playoff hopes alive. With 9 points from 10 matches, they remain in 7th place but still in contention. Delhi Capitals, despite the loss, are in a stronger position with 12 points from 10 games and hold onto 4th place in the standings.

However, with the competition heating up, they face challenges from teams like Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings in the race for a top-four finish.
