LAH vs QUE Dream11 prediction Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators, PSL 2023 Lahore Qalandars will take on Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League or PSL 2023 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday (March 2). Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators will start at 7:30 PM IST.

Both sides have a contradicting fortune in PSL 2023 as Lahore Qalandars are currently sitting top of the tables with eight points (four wins) in five games while Quetta Gladiators are dead last with just two points in five games.

One of the defeats was also handed by Lahore Qalandars (by 63 runs in Karachi on February 21) as this game is the second of the double round-robin.

LAH vs QUE injury update, key players

Lahore Qalandars injury update, key players in PSL 2023

No new injury concerns have been reported from Lahore Qalandars since Liam Dawson was ruled out. The team, in fact, got better with Rashid Khan joining the squad as they won two matches on the trot.

The Afghan all-rounder picked 2/8 against Peshawar Zalmi while contributing 12-ball 18 with the bat. He went expensive in the first game though, giving away 49 runs for a wicket.

Lahore Qalandar's top-order in good touch

Opener Fakhar Zaman has been crucial to the recent Lahore winning run as the batter scored 36 and 96 in his last two innings and has shot two half-centuries this PSL. Mirza Tahir Baig has been a good partner as well with scores of 20, 5, 31, 45, 32 in his last five innings.

Shafique Abdullah made the most of the opportunity handed to him in place of Kamran Ghulam as he slammed 75 and 45 in his first two games while striking at the rate of 184.62.

There was another crucial change in the middle-order too as Sam Billings replaced Shai Hope and scored 23-ball 47 followed by 33 off as many deliveries. Hope may feel undone on being dropped as he scored 47 before losing his spot in the playing 11.

All-rounders Sikandar Raza and David Wiese have so far enjoyed the role of batting down the order with quickfire knocks. Wiese has been impactful with the ball too with a 3/17 spell against Islamabad while Sikandar Raza picked two wickets as well.

Another all-rounder Hussain Talat hasn't sparked any influential performance for a while now to gain the confidence of the captain Shaheen Afridi for a leading role.

The skipper himself has been in the top form off late as he picked 5/40 against Peshawar on a batting paradise. Shaheen (10 wickets) has now climbed to second place behind Multan Sultan's Ihsanullah (14 wickets) in the race for the highest wicket-taker.

His new-ball partner Zaman Khan has been influential as well with three wickets in the last two outings. Haris Rauf has found some improvement too as he has been leaking fewer runs but two wickets in two games don't really do justice to a pacer of his calibre.

Quetta Gladiators injury update, key players

Quetta Gladiators have no injury concerns so far this PSL but that has not done much of a favour to the Sarfaraz Ahmed-led side, who have lost four of their five games and appear to be the bogey team of PSL 2023.

Adding to their headache, Jason Roy has left the team for international duty while Will Jacks has replaced him.

There's a concern at the top of the order aplenty as Martin Guptill's bat went silent after 117 in the first innings and was out for a first-ball duck in his last innings. The Kiwi batter has managed unconvincing 27 runs in the last three innings.

Will Smeed played some good shots at No. 3 but could only score 17 to show for it.

Their domestic stars have been in good touch though with Mohammad Hafeez, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed scoring some runs but none of them have scored those match-winning innings yet while consistency has been a concern too.

Muhammad Nawaz continues to be ineffective with the bat and has picked three wickets in his five games.

Among bowlers, Naseem Shah went for runs in the last two games by conceding 79 runs in his last eight overs.

Mohammad Hasnain has been the lone shining star among bowlers with eight wickets to his name. Odean Smith has picked four wickets in two games but went for 82 runs.

Pacer Aimal Khan replace leg-spinner Qais Ahmed, who took 2/36 a match ago, but conceded 55 runs for a wicket.

Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators pitch report LAH vs QUE

Lahore's pitch offers an initial swing to the pacers but post that it has been a batting paradise. Out of the last four innings here, three of them saw 200 or more with Lahore scoring as high as 241 as well.

Spinners may found some help as well in the second innings as Lahore spinners showed against Islamabad when they took seven wickets to bundle out the visitors for 90 in a massive 110-run win.
