Lahore: Gunmen attack SL cricket team

Unidentified gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team who were in Lahore to play the second test match of a test series. In an exchange of fire between the Lahore Policemen and the gunmen, four cops are killed and seven to eight players are injured and have been hospitalised.

Two Sri Lankan players are seriously injured. The Lankan team were on their way to Gaddafi stadium when the firing was opened on the bus they were travelling.
