Lanka Premier League 2023 Schedule: Fixtures, Dates, Timings and Venues of LPL Season 4

The fourth edition of the Lanka Premier League - LPL 2023 is scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 20 across two venues in two cities as five teams battle for the coveted title.

Lyca's Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers Strikers, Dambulla Aura, Galle Titans and B-Love Kandy will be the six teams that will initially battle in double round-robin format league phase with the top four heading to the LPL 2023 playoffs.

In the playoffs, the top two teams will clash in Qualifier 1, in which the winner earns a direct entry into the final, while the loser gets another chance at making the summit clash via the Qualifier 2, where they will face the winner of the Eliminator.

In the Eliminator, the third and fourth placed teams will face-off in a straight knockout match with the winner getting one step closer to the final and the loser heading home.

A total of 24 matches will be played this season. R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, which hosts the season opener between Lyca's Jaffna Kings and Colombo Strikers, will play host to a total of 16 matches, including the LPL 2023 playoffs.

Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele will host the remaining eight matches, all in the league stages, during the second week of the Lanka Premier League season 4, which will see some of Sri Lanka and overseas stars in action.

The likes of Wanindu Hasaranga, Dasun Shanaka, Dhananjaya de Silva, Matheesha Pathirana and Maheesh Theekshana will be the hometown stars in action, while Babar Azam, David Miller and Shoaib Malik will be among the foreign players involved.

The entire season will be played in 16 days with matches on double header days starting at 3 PM and the second match starting at 7:30 PM. Now, let's take a look at the LPL 2023 schedule along with timings in IST and venues.
