Lara wins toss, puts India in to bat first

Vadodara, Jan 31 (UNI) West Indian captain Brian Lara today won the toss and elected to field first in the fourth and final one-day international against India at the IPCL ground here.

India leads the four match series 2-1.

The hosts left out Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Ramesh Powar, Dinesh Karthick and S Sreesanth.

West Indies left out Dwayne Bravo who failed to pass a fitness test for his sore left shoulder, Runako Morton and Jerome Taylor, who has been rested, the West Indian media officer Imran Khan informed. Rayad Emrit will make his debut for the West Indies.

The teams: India: Rahul Dravid (captain), Sourav Ganguly, Robin Uthappa, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan.

West Indies: Brian Lara (captain), Chris Gayle, Shivnaraine Chanderpaul, Marlon Samuels, Devon Smith, Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin, Rayad Emrit, Darren Powell, Dwayne Smith, Ian Bradshaw.

Umpires: Billy Bowden (New Zealand), Amish Saheba (India). Third umpire: Suresh Shastri (India). Fourth umpire: Jasbir Singh (India).
