Injured Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood has dethroned Mohammed Siraj as the new number one ranked ODI bowler in the latest ICC rankings.

Siraj was hammered for 37 runs in three overs in the second ODI against Australia in Vizag.

New Zealand's Trent Boult is occupying the second spot, while Siraj is now tied with in-form Mitchel Starc at third with 702 rating points each.

Further, there has been a major shake-up at the top of the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings. Kane Williamson has jumped four spots to number two after his stunning campaign against Sri Lanka.

The former New Zealand Test captain smashed 121 unbeaten runs to guide his side to a thrilling victory in the opening Test in Christchurch and then followed that effort with a brilliant 215 in the first innings of the second Test to put his side in a commanding position.

It was the 32-year-old's sixth double century of his career. Former India captain Virat Kohli (seven) is the only current day player with more double hundreds than Williamson.

The right-hand batter, who gained a total of 51 rating points, is now only 32 points behind top-ranked Marnus Labuschagne (915). Steve Smith (third), Joe Root (fourth), Babar Azam (fifth) and Travis Head (sixth) all drop one place.

ICC Rankings: Rohit Sharma out of top 10 list

Further, Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne has pushed his Indian counterpart Rohit Sharma out of the top 10 list of Test batters. Karunaratne scored three fifties in the 2-Test series against New Zealand.

With Rohit dropping to 11th spot, Rishabh Pant (ranked 9th) is the only batter in the top 10 of the ICC Test rankings for batters. Virat Kohli is ranked 13th in the latest rankings. Usman Khawaja and Daryl Mitchell are static at 7th and 8th spots respectively.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam continued to occupy the number one spot in ICC ODI rankings for batters.

Heinrich Klaasen has risen 13 spots to 30th after his brilliant century in the Proteas' impressive victory over the West Indies in the third and final match of the series in Potchefstroom. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma improves 17 places to 33rd following his big knock in the second game in East London.
