The Legends Intercontinental T20, managed by US-based Brosid Sports LLC, revealed its trophy at a grand event in New Delhi. The first edition will run from August 16 to 28, 2024, at Moosa Stadium in Texas, USA. Legendary cricketers from various continents will compete in this exciting tournament.
Seven teams—Indo Kings, Asian Avengers, Euro Rangers, American Mavericks, Trans-Tasman Titans, African Lions, and Caribbean Vikings—will vie for the prestigious trophy. These teams feature cricket icons from around the world.

During the unveiling event, LIT20's management discussed their commitment to sustainability. Mr Arun Pandey, Chairman & COO of LIT20, emphasised their 'All Green' initiatives by presenting small plants to guests. This gesture symbolised their dedication to environmental awareness.
Mr Pandey stated, "We have also focused on sustainability. The recent hot summers highlighted the need for environmental awareness. Through LIT20 and the legends participating, we want to make fans more conscious about the environment."
Mr Mohit Joon, Promoter of LIT20, expressed his enthusiasm: "The Legends Intercontinental T20 by Brosid Sports LLC is like a second innings for every cricketer. Everybody wants to see the legends play the game again. I'm grateful to be part of this great event."
Former IPL player Pradeep Sangwan added his excitement: "I'm honoured to be part of LIT20 and this special occasion. The league will undoubtedly make a milestone event for legendary cricketers worldwide."
The inaugural edition will follow a single round-robin format. The top four teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the knockout stage. A total of 24 thrilling matches will be played at Moosa Stadium in Texas.
Each day will feature double-headers, ensuring fans get their fill of cricket action. The schedule and full roster of players will be announced soon.
The trophy unveiling was attended by notable figures including Mr Arun Pandey, Mr Mohit Joon, Mr Vishal Sharma (CEO of LIT20), and former Delhi first-class player Pradeep Sangwan.
Mr Pandey shared his thoughts on the significance of hosting the tournament in the USA: "We saw the World Cup in the USA, which is a significant market. I have been observing this market since 2010 but it has never been fully explored."
"There is a hunger for cricket with many Indians in the USA who are passionate about the sport and continue to celebrate it," he continued. "This presents a great opportunity for global cricketers and fans."
LIT20 aims to set new standards in cricket by bringing back legendary players and connecting them with global fans through this platform.
The event promises not only thrilling cricket but also an emphasis on environmental consciousness through its green initiatives.
