The Legends League Cricket 2024 is set to kick off on September 20, featuring an exciting lineup of cricketing legends.

This year's tournament will showcase six star-studded teams competing across 25 matches in four vibrant Indian cities: Jodhpur, Surat, Jammu, and Srinagar.

This season of Legends League Cricket will see the debut of several Indian cricketing stalwarts, including Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Ambati Rayudu, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Kedar Jadhav.

In addition to these debutants, other notable players set to participate in this year's tournament include Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina, among others. As fans gear up for the action, here are three players to keep an eye on this season.

1. Shikhar Dhawan

One of the most anticipated players in LLC 2024 is former India opener Shikhar Dhawan. Recently retired from international and domestic cricket, Dhawan is making his debut in the league as the captain of the Gujarat Greats.

His extensive experience as a leader, both for India and in the Indian Premier League (IPL), positions him as a critical figure for his team. Known for his aggressive batting style, Dhawan excels in powerplay overs, making him a dangerous opponent for bowlers.

2. Dinesh Karthik

With a wealth of experience from 180 international appearances, he has accumulated 3,463 runs across formats, including a Test century and 17 fifties. His IPL career has been a successful one too, having scored 4,842 runs in 257 matches, complemented by 22 fifties.

Karthik's leadership will be crucial for the Superstars as they seek to make a significant impact in the league. His quick reflexes behind the stumps, combined with his ability to change the game with his bat, make him a player to watch.

3. Isuru Udana

The former Sri Lankan left-arm pacer Isuru Udana is another player to keep an eye on this season. Making his second appearance in the LLC, Udana was the most expensive player in the LLC 2024 auction, securing a contract worth an impressive INR 61.97 lakh with Urbanrisers Hyderabad. This hefty price tag reflects the high expectations surrounding his performance.

In the previous edition of the league, representing India Capitals, Udana showcased his bowling talent, finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker with nine wickets in six matches, boasting an impressive average of 21.22. His ability to pick crucial wickets at critical moments makes him a vital component of any team he represents.
