Legends League Cricket: India Capitals Full Squad for LLC 2024, Key Players, Captain

LLC 2024: India Capitals bought 14 players in the auction for the Legends League Cricket Season Three, starting September 20 in Jodhpur. The Capitals will be led by legendary English cricketer Ian Bell in this season.

Earlier, they had to let go of captain Gautam Gambhir, who is currently the head coach of the Indian men's team. The Capitals retained the experienced duo of Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse for the new season ahead of the LLC 2024 Auction.

The Capitals spent big on fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni, who was a part of the Mumbai team that won the previous edition of the Ranji Trophy. The speedster also has the experience of playing under pressure in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Capitals bought him for a whopping Rs 50 lakhs.

Dwayne Smith of the West Indies was bought by the Capitals for Rs 47 lakhs. Smith is a powerful striker and mostly opens the batting in the shorter format. Colin de Grandhomme used to be a handy all-rounder for the Black Caps in all three formats. Faiz Fazal, who played a solitary ODI for India back in 2016, fetched Rs 25 lakhs in the auction.

Christopher Mpofu and Parvinder Awana should lead the pace attack for the Capitals. Pankaj Singh can also generate a serious pace. Iqbal Abdullah and Rahul Sharma are the wicket-taking spin-bowling options for the Capitals.

The Capitals also have the likes of Naman Ojha, Kirk Edwards, Gnaneshwara Rao, Bharat Chipli and Pawan Suyal in their squad for the upcoming tournament.
