Southern Superstars have assembled a strong squad for the Legends League Cricket 2024, who will begin their campaign in the competition against Gujarat Greats on September 23.
they signed former Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik, who has played over 400 matches in T20 cricket since his debut back in 2006. Karthik has also been named as the captain of the Superstars.

They also retained Bangladeshi left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak, who also played one match for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In the auction, the Superstars spent the most on Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile, who has also played in the IPL and Big Bash League. Pawan Negi, who has been a handy all-rounder in India's domestic cricket, was bought by the Superstars for Rs 40 lakhs.
The Superstars also shelled out Rs 38 crore for Subodh Bhati. Zimbabwe's Elton Chigumbura and Hamilton Masakadza fetched Rs 25 lakhs and 23.2 lakhs in the auction.
Former Afghanistan fast bowler Hamid Hassan will play for the Superstars, who bought him for Rs 20.9 lakhs. The Sri Lankan duo of Suranga Lakmal and Jeevan Mendis is also a part of the Superstars in the upcoming edition of the T20 league.
Shreevats Goswami, Chirag Gandhi, Robin Bisht, Jesal Karia, Chaturanga de Silva and Monu Kumar are the other cricketers in the Superstars squad for the tournament.
