Legends League Cricket: Urbanrisers Hyderabad Full Squad for LLC 2024, Key Players, Captain

LLC 2024: Urbanrisers Hyderabad bought 10 players in the Legends League Cricket auction on Thursday, August 29. The runner-ups from the previous edition are eyeing the trophy this season under the leadership of their champion skipper Suresh Raina.

Earlier, they retained Gurkeerat Singh, Suresh Raina, and former English all-rounder Peter Trego.

Hyderabad went all out to buy West Indies wicketkeeper Chadwick Walton and spent Rs 60.3 lakhs on him. Walton has played international cricket and has been a part of several teams in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) as well.

Hyderabad also went into a bidding war to buy Sri Lankan fast bowler Isuru Udana, who has bowled match-winning spells for Sri Lanka and played for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Stuart Binny, a handy all-rounder in his heydays, is now a part of the Hyderabad team in the LLC. He is also known for the six-wicket haul that he picked up against Bangladesh in an ODI back in 2014 in Mirpur.

Samiullah Shinwari has witnessed several ups and downs in Afghanistan cricket over the last 15 years or so. Still an active cricketer, the Afghan all-rounder is now a part of the Hyderabad team in the LLC.

Rikki Clarke of England can play big shots and is more than handy as a medium pacer. Sri Lankan speedster Nuwan Pradeep can be lethal on his day as he is a genuine wicket-taker.

New Zealand's George Worker, USA's Jaskaran Malhotra, India's Bipul Sharma and Yogesh Nagar are some of the other players for Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the tournament.
