Manipal Tigers have one of the strongest teams for the Legends League Cricket 2024. Earlier, they retained Robin Uthappa, Harbhajan Singh and Thisara Perera. Harbhajan was a part of both Indian teams that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup.

Uthappa and Perera have also played match-winning hands for their country and in different franchise leagues around the world. The Tigers bought former Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian for a whopping price of Rs 55.9 lakhs.

Christian is known for his brilliant bowling at the death and his stupendous striking prowess with the bat in hand. The veteran also played for various teams in the Big Bash League and Indian Premier League. Let's take a look at their squad below:

Players bought in auction: Daniel Christian (Rs 55.9 lakhs), Angelo Perera (Rs 42.1 lakhs), Sheldon Cottrell (Rs 33.5 lakhs), Manoj Tiwary (Rs 15 lakhs), Asela Gunaratne (Rs 35.8 lakhs), Solomon Mire (Rs 38 lakhs), Anureet Singh (Rs 27 lakhs), Abu Nechim (Rs 19 lakhs), Amit Verma (Rs 26 lakhs), Imran Khan (Rs 12.5 lakhs), Rahul Shukla (Rs 31 lakhs), Amitoze Singh (Rs 6 lakhs), Praveen Gupta (Rs 48 lakhs)

Praveen Gupta fetched a whopping Rs 48 lakhs from the Tigers. Sri Lanka's Angelo Perera went to the Tigers for Rs 42.1 lakhs. In T20 cricket, Perera has scored 2216 runs at a strike-rate of 120.69 with eight half-centuries to show for his efforts.

Sheldon Cottrell has picked many wickets for the West Indies with the new ball in limited-overs cricket. It is now time for him to step up for the Tigers. Manoj Tiwary brings in a truckload of experience, although his career for India never flourished.

Asela Gunaratne, Solomon Mire, Anureet Singh, Abu Nechim, Amit Verma, Imran Khan, Rahul Shukla, Amitoze Singh and Praveen Gupta are the other players in the squad.
