Lions win toss, elect to bat first

London, July 13 (UNI) Andrew Strauss won the toss and decided to bat first as England Lions take on a Sachin Tendulkar-led India in a three-day match at Chelmsford today.

Young paceman from Delhi Ishant Sharma got the not as RP Singh has been rested for the game.

The Lions batting line-up include internationals Owais Shah and Ravinder Bopara besides Strauss himself.
