Big-hitting former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard smashed the longest six in PSL 2024 during match 6 of the season between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday (February 21).
During the Kings' run chase of 155, Pollard struck a 114 meter hit off the bowling of spinner Waqar Salamkheil over long off to register the biggest maximum of the ongoing season.

The 36-year-old, who opened his account with a six off the very same bowler, took Salamkheil to the cleaners in the next over, where he smashed 27 runs, that included 3 sixes and 2 fours with his unbeaten knock taking Kings to the target with 7 wickets and 19 balls to spare.
Apart from his 114 meter hit, Pollard also hit a few more over the 90 meter mark in the unbeaten 49 off 21-ball innings that saw Karachi Kings bounce back from their opening game defeat to Multan Sultans. Pollard's maximums were 98 meters and 95 meters.
Later, there were sevral hits that crossed the 100 meter mark, including one from West Indies' Sherfane Rutherford, but none got close to Pollard's monster hit in the season. Here is a look at the longest six in PSL 2024:
The 114 meter hit by Pollard is also the joint second longest six in PSL history, going level with compatriot Andre Fletcher, who smashed the biggest hit back in 2018 off the bowling of Muhammad Irfan, when representing Peshawar Zalmi against Multan Sultans.
The record for the longest hit in PSL history, however, belongs to another West Indies batter, Rovman Powell, who smashed a 116 meter hit during PSL 2023.
Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal and Fakhar Zaman are some of the other batters to breach the 100 meter mark in the Pakistan Super League. Here is a look at the biggest hits in PSL history:
