Lots of runs in offing for last one-day

Visakhapatnam, Feb 7 (UNI) The pitch for the fourth one day match between India and Sri Lanka would be a batsman's paradise, with more than 500 runs possible.

Talking to UNI here today, District Cricket Association Secretary K Parthasarathy said the match would be high scoring as the pitch always favoured batsmen.

This was the second match at the venue. The earlier one was played between India and Pakistan, in which India scored 356 in 50 overs.

All preparations for the smooth conduct of the match were on.

The ground would have two electronic scoreboards installed at the east and west sides.

The two teams, which would arrive here on Feb 15, would practise at a ground adjacent to the stadium.

The pitch and the venue awaits the International Cricket Council's certification for the conduct of Tests.
