Lucknow, April 30: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 43 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Monday (May 1).
KL Rahul-led LSG will look to carry on their winning momentum after securing their fifth win of the season in their last outing against Punjab Kings, while Virat Kohli-led RCB will look to bounce back from the defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders.

In the recent outings, LSG absolutely demolished PBKS in Mohali as they scored the second highest total in IPL history. LSG have so far had victories over RCB, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.
But the Lucknow-based side have lost to Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans and PBKS. They have actually won more away from home as they have lost two of their matches in Lucknow so far.
RCB, on the other hand, suffered a 21-run loss at home to KKR. Before that result, the Bangalore-based side had suffered defeats to LSG, KKR (reverse fixture), CSK. They had registered wins over PBKS, DC, RR and Mumbai Indians.
This will be the third meeting between the two sides in IPL. This will also be the first meeting between the two sides at the Ekana Stadium, where the hosts don't hold a great record.
Now, we take a look at the stats and records preview of LSG and RCB along with stats for previous franchises against team, interesting facts and players chasing milestones ahead of LSG vs RCB in IPL 2023:
In the three meetings between the two sides in IPL, RCB had got the better of LSG in both matches last season including the IPL 2022 eliminator, but the Lucknow-based side pulled off a big run chase earlier this season in Bengaluru.
In the reverse fixture, RCB had set a target of 213 for LSG at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. When RCB were well set for victory, Nicholas Pooran, who scored the second fastest fifty in IPL history, took the game away from the hosts to secure a 1-wicket win.
