MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings are taking on Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium on Wednesday (May 3). And CSK captain has given a massive hint on his retirement plans.
Ever since the start of the IPL 2023 season, the rumour of MS Dhoni retiring has been a significant narrative. Dhoni, 42, has been subject to retirement links and the player has seen enormous support across all venues.

And Dhoni was asked about his potential departure from the game in the LSG match. During Toss, Danny Morrison asked him whether he is enjoying the support of a farewell, and Dhoni gave a perfect reply to the question.
"Well, You've decided it is my last (not me)," Dhoni replied to Morrison with a smile on his face. Danny Morrison also had a laugh after the reply.
The Kiwi commentator than said, "You've got to come back. I love it. So you're coming back. He is gonna come back, Okay? He is coming back to play next year. Good to see you, God, I Love You!"
It will come as a huge boost to the CSK and Dhoni fans across the world. The former India captain surely has enough legs to continue in the IPL for a couple of more years. The level of his fitness is excellent, and Dhoni has always been a top-notch professional throughout the years.
It is to be seen what pans out after the IPL ends this season, but MS Dhoni staying a few more years at the ground can only benefit the tournament.
