MS Dhoni put the crowd at the Ekana Stadium in a frenzy after coming out to bat against Lucknow Super Giants on Friday (April 29).
Chennai Super Kings are up against LSG and it was a spectacle at the stadium when MS Dhoni came out to bat. The CSK maestro came in at no. 8 in the 18th over and the crowd went crazy.

Dhoni's effect was imminent as the CSK batter hit a boundary over extra cover in his second ball. Then in the next delivery, Dhoni swivelled across and hoisted a six over the wicketkeeper's head.
The whole nation was in swing mode as Dhoni kept showing his batting masterclass in the final over. Dhoni smashed Yash Thakur over deep mid-wicket for a six, and then he went berserk in the very next delivery, getting a slice which raced for a boundary. After a brace in the next delivery, Dhoni dispatched the last delivery for another boundary.
Dhoni ended up with an unbeaten 28 off just 9 balls and took CSK to 176 for 6 at the end of their full quota of overs.
Fans on Twitter went crazy and hailed the veteran after his short yet effective blitzkrieg. Dhoni also extended his sixes tally in the 20th over of IPL matches. He currently now has 65 sixes in the final overs of IPL matches.
