LSG vs DC: IPL 2024: Four Batters Who Can Score Most Runs in Match 26

LSG vs DC: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Match 26 of IPL 2024. The game will get underway at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on April 12, Friday at 7:30 PM (IST).

The Lucknow-based franchise started their campaign with a defeat over Rajasthan Royals. Despite an early hic-cup, they managed to turn things around with back-to-back wins over Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. LSG who are aiming to build on a hat-trick of wins are currently third on the league stage points table with six points at an NRR of +0.775.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are in a real spot of bother as they find themselves at the rock-bottom of the points table. Having played five games so far, they lost four games and their solitary win came against Chennai Super Kings. Let's now take a glimpse at the four batsmen who can muster the most runs in Match 26 of the tournament.

1. Nicholas Pooran: Nicholas Pooran has been the most consistent batsman for LSG in the ongoing season. The Caribbean has showcased his mettle to score runs at a rate of knots. He is the leading run-getter for the Lucknow-based franchise, aggregating 178 runs in four games at a staggering batting average of 178 and an impressive strike rate of 169.52.

2. David Warner: David Warner who has a truckload of experience in India's premier T20 competition seems to be the lone warrior for the Delhi-based franchise this season. The senior pro who is the leading run-getter for DC with 158 runs in five games at an average of 31.60 and a strike rate of 142.34 is expected to lead the batting attack by example.

3. Marcus Stoinis: Australian international Marcus Stoinis might not have made an immediate impact with the bat for LSG this season. However, he gradually got into fine rhythm with his impactful 58 off 43 against Gujarat Titans in the last game. This gritty knock against a very good side should give him the confidence going forward.

4. Rishabh Pant: Despite best efforts, nothing much worked out for Rishabh Pant in the initial couple of games. However, once he started to get the hang of things this season, he hit a couple of half-centuries. Having played five games so far, he scored 153 runs at an average of 30.60 and a strike rate of 154.55. He is expected to make a telling impact in the upcoming match.
