LSG vs DC Live streaming IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants will start their Indian Premier League 2023 on Saturday when the latter also host their first game in the comfort of their home stadium at Ekana Sports City Stadium.

Lucknow will have a psychological edge over the visitors, whom they defeated twice last season. The two wins proved decisive as Lucknow made the playoffs with a four-point difference to Delhi. Both sides, however, will be missing some key players for the game.

LSG will be without pacer Mohsin Khan for most of the season, which will be a big loss as the pacer was a revelation last year. Opener Quinton de Kock will be unavailable for this game as he is off playing World Cup Super League game against the Netherlands.

Delhi Capitals are missing Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi for similar reasons. Rishabh Pant is unavailable for the entire season since he recovers from the horrible car accident. This makes Ranji star Sarfaraz Khan prove his worth with millions watching him play while opener Prithvi Shaw will also look to leave his mark since not getting that India call-up.

Skipper David Warner and Mitchell Marsh provide further quality in the line-up but the former's hasn't fired a half-century in a while. Rilee Rossouw has been in fine form too with some blazing knocks in PSL while Manish Pandey will be expected to bring his experience.

Among their bowlers, the likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Chetan Sakariya, Ishant Sharma, along with newcomers in Azam Khan and Mukesh Kumar, will vie for spots in the playing 11 while Mustafizur Rahman is the sole foreign pacer with South African pacers missing. The onus of spin lies with Kuldeep Yadav, who took 21 wickets last season.

For LSG, KL Rahul has a point to prove after losing his spot in India's T20 squad and is likely to have either Deepak Hooda or Kyle Mayers as his opening partner with De Kock unavailable. All-rounder Marcus Stoinis will have to look after the middle order with Ayush Badoni in support.

Among bowlers, Avesh Khan, who was LSG's highest wicket-taker last season, will expect support from Jaydev Unadkat and Mark Wood in Mohsin's absence. The spin department is expected to be looked after by the young and old spin duo of Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra. They will have spin all-rounders Krishnappa Gowtham and Krunal Pandya's backing on a Lucknow pitch, which favours spin.
