LSG vs GT: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be without the services of their star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh in their IPL 2025 fixture against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Saturday.
Marsh, who has been in scintillating form this season, has had to step away from the squad to attend to a personal matter.

Speaking at the toss, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant confirmed that Marsh will not be available for selection as his daughter is unwell. "His daughter is not well, so he won't be playing today. Himmat Singh replaces him in the XI," Pant revealed.
The absence of Marsh comes as a significant blow for LSG. The Australian powerhouse is currently the team's second-highest run-getter in the tournament, having amassed 265 runs from just five matches. His consistent contributions at the top have been a vital part of LSG's campaign so far.
To fill the gap left by Marsh, the team has brought in Himmat Singh. While it will be a big challenge for the youngster to replicate Marsh's impact, it also presents a great opportunity to prove his mettle on the big stage.
On the other side, Gujarat Titans also made a change to their playing XI. Off-spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar comes in for pacer Kulwant Khejrolia. GT captain Shubman Gill, speaking at the toss, said the pitch looked good for batting and bowling, and that everyone in the squad has been contributing well so far.
LSG won the toss and opted to bowl first, hoping to continue their recent momentum after back-to-back wins. Pant praised the bowling unit's recent efforts and emphasized the importance of sticking to team processes.
