LSG vs KKR IPL 2024: Four Batters Who Can Score Most Runs in Match 54

LSG vs KKR: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Match 54 of the IPL 2024. The game will kick off at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on May 5, Sunday at 7:30 PM (IST).

Earlier in the season, KKR got the better of LSG in the first leg at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. They won the game by 8 wickets to register their first win over LSG in IPL. Overall, both teams lock horns with each other on four occasions.

1. KL Rahul: LSG captain KL Rahul is one of the batters to watch out for in the upcoming game against KKR. KL Rahul has registered as many as six 50-plus scores in 14 innings against KKR. Notably, he scored runs at a pretty decent strike rate of 138.41. Rahul who scored 39 off 27 in the reverse fixture will be hoping to inflict damage on KKR.

2. Philip Salt: KKR’s Philip Salt was at his imperious best against LSG in the first leg, scoring a devastating 89 off 47 balls including 14 fours and 3 sixes, which is also his personal best score in his IPL career. Salt’s form hasn’t clicked yet as he scored 53 runs in four innings. Nevertheless, he will try to bring the best out of himself against LSG.

3. Nicholas Pooran: It is worth mentioning here that Nicholas Pooran has accelerated the scoreboard with his fearless approach to the game for LSG this season. The Caribbean scored 305 runs in 10 games at an average of 61 including a fifty and maintained a strike rate of 160.53. He scored 45 off 32 in the reverse fixture against LSG.

4. Rinku Singh: The IPL fraternity might see the best of Rinku Singh in the upcoming match against LSG. The left-hander failed to operate at a high level this season, scoring just 132 runs in 10 games at an average of 18.86. He is just one good innings away from gaining confidence levels.
