Sunil Narine has continued his merry ride with the bat in this IPL 2024 season against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday (May 5).
KKR are taking on LSG at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium and the West Indies star has showcased his batting prowess again.

Narine opened the innings with Phil Salt and provided KKR with another blistering start. Although it was Salt who started briskly at the start, but after the Englisnman's dismissal, Narine has taken over the duties.
The KKR star scored his third fifty of the season in just 27 balls and also breached the 400 mark in runs this season. Narine ended up scoring 81 runs off 39 balls, consisting of 6 fours and 7 sixes.
The KKR legend has also taken up the 3rd position in the Orange Cap list. RCB batter Virat Kohli is on top of the Orange Cap list with 542 runs, while CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has 541 runs. Narine, unbelievably, is the next name behind them, which is a surreal piece of fact.
As Narine continued his onslaught against LSG, fans and experts hailed the KKR star on social media.
"With this consistency can we call Sunil narine a pinch hitter? Solid consistency with outstanding strike rate," former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) profile.
This user says Sunil Narine is playing for the Orange Cap this season. And to be honest, at this rate, he will give Virat Kohli a tough time at the top.
This user's post epitomises the season Sunil Narine is having for KKR. He was always a premium with the ball, but his batting has overshadowed everything this year.
Gautam Gambhir played a massive role in Sunil Narine's revival.
One of the user also trolled the India captain and MI batter Rohit Sharma for his lack of runs in the IPL. The Mumbai Indians batter has only had one season with more than 400 runs in the last eight years. But he currently has 326 runs and need to score 74 more in the last three matches to breach the mark.
