Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians clash in Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday (May 24), with the game set to start at 7:30 PM IST.

LSG led by Krunal Pandya are fresh from their eighth win of the campaign, while Rohit Sharma-led MI also head into the match on the back of their eighth win of the season. LSG, who has one No Result, has won 8 in 14, whereas MI has won 8 in 14.

LSG and MI have already crossed paths once this season with the former winning the league stage match against the five-time champions by 5 runs. LSG rode on Marcus Stoinis' unbeaten 89 to set a target of 178 before Ravi Bishnoi's 2 for 26 helped restrict MI to 172.

Now, the two sides will clash for the second time this season and for the first time at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, which will host it's ninth match of the season.

In the third match, Jadeja's three-wicket haul helped CSK restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to a paltry 134 before Conway's unbeaten 77 saw the team home with 8 balls to spare. In the fourth match, however, PBKS pulled off a huge run chase over CSK in a last-ball thriller.

In the fifth match, CSK beat their rivals MI after Matheesha Pathirana helped restrict the record champions to just 139 and Conway scored 44 as the hosts chased down the target with 14 balls to spare.

In the sixth match, CSK beat DC by 27 runs after MS Dhoni's cameo helped them to a challenging total of 167, while Pathirana and Deepak Chahar did the job with the ball, restricting the visitors to 140.

In the seventh, Shivam Dube's 48 helped CSK to 144 on a wicket that helped the spinners, while Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana powered KKR past the target with 6 wickets in hand and 9 balls to spare.

In the eight match, CSK beat GT by 15 runs after they rode on Gaikwad fifty to set a target of 173 in qualifier 1. GT will now face the winner of the Eliminator between LSG and MI in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
