Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will look to carry their winning momentum in their first match at home this season when they take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match 13 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday (April 1).
Rishabh Pant’s LSG, who lost their season opener against Delhi Capitals by 1 wicket, come into the match on the back of a rebound victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, while Shreyas Iyer-led PBKS registered a convincing win against Gujarat Titans in their only outing so far this season.

After failing to defend 209 against DC in Vizag, LSG responded with a statement win against one of the highest-scoring teams in the past two seasons – Sunrisers Hyderabad in their own backyard.
Pant and Co restricted SRH to 190 thanks to Shardul Thakur’s performance with the ball before Nicholas Pooran and Mitch Marsh carried forward their form with the bat to power past the target with 21 balls and 5 wickets to spare in Hyderabad.
PBKS, on the other hand, rode on skipper Shreyas’ unbeaten 97 off 61 balls and Shashank Singh’s late cameo to set a target of 244 before some terrific death bowling by Arshdeep Singh and impact sub Vyshak Vijaykumar helped restrict GT to 232 for an 11-run win in Ahmedabad.
