Hosts LSG lost their first match of the IPL 2024 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 20 runs. Chasing 194, Lucknow were restricted to 173/6. On the other hand, Punjab Kings defeated Delhi by four wickets to kick start their campaign, and then lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by four wickets.
Shikhar Dhawan's Punjab Kings would be aiming to bounce back to winning ways. Lucknow would also be expecting to bounce back to winning ways in their first home match of the season.
