After an underwhelming season in the IPL 2025, Rishabh Pant has finally done justice to his massive reputation with a scintillating century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Tuesday (May 27).
In a stunning display of resilience and flair, Rishabh Pant has delivered a remarkable performance in the final league match of IPL 2025, scoring an unbeaten 118 runs off 61 balls against RCB in Lucknow.

Pant notched up his second IPL century and his first for LSG, providing a fitting conclusion to an otherwise challenging season for the Rs 27 crore acquisition.
Entering the match with a modest tally of 151 runs from 13 games, Pant faced mounting scrutiny over his form and the substantial investment made by LSG. However, he silenced critics with a masterful innings, reaching his half-century in just 29 balls and continuing to a century that showcased his trademark aggression and finesse. His partnership with Mitchell Marsh was pivotal, amassing a 152-run stand that propelled LSG to a formidable total of 227/3.
Although the southpaw has finally lived up to the billing, the LSG captain's knock won't be enough to take his team into the playoffs. It has been a season of disappointment for Pant, but the Lucknow skipper's approach against RCB was spot on. He took on the bowlers from the very start and continue his onslaught. After his hundred, Pant's celebration was also magnificent as he did a backflip on the deck.
The fans were overwhelmed with Pant's inning and one comments that his celebration was the coldest of the season.
This fan saw the hilarious side of Pant's knock and also took the mickey out of RCB. No top-two for RCB in Pant's watch!
It is to be seen if Rishabh Pant's time will be changing with this century as the Indian southpaw will be representing his country in the England Tour. A monumental effort is needed. And some fans believe this hundred will kickstart the purple patch.
