Here's a look at the Top 5 Youngest Debutants in IPL history:

1. Vaibhav Suryavanshi - 14 years, 23 days

Team: Rajasthan Royals | Debut: IPL 2025

In a historic moment for the league, Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player to feature in an IPL match at just 14 years and 23 days old. Named in the Impact Player list for the Rajasthan Royals for the match against Lucknow Super Giants on 19th April, he is expected to bat later in the match. His inclusion was confirmed by RR's stand-in skipper Riyan Parag. The Royals have long backed young talent, and this move only cements their legacy as a breeding ground for future stars.

2. Prayas Ray Barman - 16 years, 157 days

Team: Royal Challengers Bangalore | Debut: IPL 2019

Before Vaibhav shattered records, Prayas Ray Barman held the title of IPL's youngest debutant. The leg-spinner from Bengal played for RCB and made an instant impression with his calm demeanour and raw talent, despite being thrust into the spotlight at just 16.

3. Mujeeb Ur Rahman - 17 years, 11 days

Team: Kings XI Punjab | Debut: IPL 2018

The Afghan mystery spinner made his IPL debut shortly after turning 17 and quickly showcased his wicket-taking abilities. Mujeeb's variations and maturity beyond his years made him a standout performer in Punjab's bowling unit back then.

4. Sarfaraz Khan - 17 years, 177 days

Team: Royal Challengers Bangalore | Debut: IPL 2015

Sarfaraz turned heads as a flamboyant batter when he walked out for RCB as a teenager. His fearless strokeplay and street-smart cricketing sense made him one of the most exciting prospects back in 2015.

5. Riyan Parag - 17 years, 175 days

Team: Rajasthan Royals | Debut: IPL 2019

Interestingly, the current stand-in RR captain Riyan Parag also finds himself on this list. Debuting at 17, Parag brought a unique blend of calmness and aggression to the middle order.
