Mah Governor praises Team India's go-getting attitude

Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna today congratulated the captain of the Indian Cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his side's dream victory against Pakistan in the finals of the twenty20 World Cup at Johannesburg in South Africa last evening.

In a congratulatory message to the Indian team, Mr Krishna said ''The entire nation is proud of the Indian cricket team for its thrilling victory over Pakistan in the finals of the World Twenty20.

The victory has come as a climax to the winning streak maintained by the team in the entire tournament. Go-getting and confidence- inspiring attitude of the Indian team separated it from the rest of the contestants.'' ''The victory has given a new confidence to the people and to all sportspersons in the country and I am sure it will instill a 'can-do' spirit among the sportspersons. I congratulate each and every member, the coach and the management of the team for the stunning victory. I also convey my heartiest congratulations to the BCCI president Sharad Pawar on this memorable victory,'' he added.
