Bengaluru, August 29: Hubli Tigers lifted the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 title following a 8-run victory over Mysore Warriors in the final on Tuesday (August 29) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
After Mohammed Taha and Manish Pandey fifties powered Hubli Tigers to 203/8, R Samarth (63 off 35 balls) and Karun Nair (37 off 20 balls) stand went in vain as youngster Manvanth Kumar L (3 for 32) held his nerve in the final over to restrict Warriors to 195/8.

Emerging talent Manvanth conceded just 3 runs and picked two wickets, when defending 12 runs in the final over in which skipper Pandey saved a six in the second delivery at long off, playing a crucial role in the victory.
For Tigers, Vidwath Kaverappa also was among the wickets, but expensive as he ended with figures of 2 for 40 in 4 overs, while Mitrakanth Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 1 for 15 in 4 overs.
Earlier, put into bat, Hubli Tigers lost their in-form opener Luvnith Sisodia for a duck, but his partner Taha (72 off 40 balls) and KL Shrijith (38 off 31 balls) added a 90-run stand to steady ship before skipper Pandey smashed a 23-ball 50 to take the total past 200.
For Mysore Warriors, Jagadeesha Suchith was the pick of the bowlers, ending with figures of 1 for 24 in 4 overs, but the top wicket-taker was Karthik CA, who claimed two wickets for 33 runs in 3 overs. Monish Reddy and Kushaal Wadhwani also took a wicket-a-piece.
