Maharashtra get three points against AP in Ranji Trophy match

Nashik, Nov 13 (UNI) Riding on their first innings lead, Maharashtra earned three points in the Elite 'B' match against Andhrapradesh which ended in a draw here today.

Andhra declared their second innings on 210 for five. For the visitors, Reddy scored 53 runs where as Sumanth added valuable 58 runs. For Maharashtra, Fallah and Waghmare took two wickets each.

Andhra put up 166 runs' victory target for Maharashtra.

In reply , Maharashtra scored only 27 runs in remaining eight overs after losing one wicket. Strick bowler Vijaykumar took one wicket for Andhra. The visitors earned one point from this match.

Maharashtra batsman H Khadiwale, who made century in the first innings, was adjudged man of the match.
