Mahipal Lomror on Thursday (November 14) put Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises on alert ahead of the IPL Mega Auction 2025 with an unbeaten triple century for Rajasthan in a Ranji Trophy match.
Lomror, who has featured for Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL previously, smashed a 360-ball 300 against Uttarakhand in an Elite Group B match in Derhadun to remind teams about his prowess.

The left-hand batter from Nagaur district, who has often been used as a finisher in IPL, struck 25 fours and 13 sixes to become the second player from the state of Rajasthan to score a triple century in Ranji Trophy after Aakash Chopra who scored 301 not out off 582 balls against Maharashtra in 2010.
The 24-year-old is currently the second-highest run-getter in the ongoing Ranji season with 529 runs to his name, and has made some of the IPL franchises take notice before the big auction, scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25.
One team to take notice was Rajasthan Royals, who handed Lomror his IPL debut during his stint from 2018 to 2021. The Royals posted an appreciation video in which their head coach Rahul Dravid is seen interacting with Lomror.
Lomror was released by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), but the uncapped all-rounder will definitely be among the players being discussed for the Right to Match (RTM) cards during the IPL Mega Auction.
His recent form that sees him top the run-scoring charts has definitely put Lomror in some of the franchises wish-list. The southpaw, who can bat in the middle order, can also roll his arm over for some left-arm spin if needed.
The Rajasthan all-rounder had featured more regualrly for RCB in the last two seasons due to the impact player rule, and could be a tempting option for any team, including the Bengaluru-based side at the big auction.
RCB had bought Lomror for Rs 95 Lakh in the 2022 IPL Mega Auction. Before arriving to RCB, Lomror had made 11 appearances across four seasons for the Rajasthan Royals, scoring 181 runs for the Jaipur-based side.
For RCB, Lomror made 346 runs in 29 innings across three seasons, striking at around 183 in the 2024 season. The left-handed batter played the finishing role, which RCB lacked in several matches.
