The second season of the Major League Cricket - MLC 2024 is scheduled to get underway with the league phase from Friday (July 5) as six teams look to battle it out across 23 days in two venues for the title.

The six teams - MI New York, LA Knight Riders, Texas Super Kings, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas and Washington Freedom - return to face off in 21-matches round-robin format to decide the playoff qualifying spots.

The top four head into the MLC playoffs, which will feature the Eliminator, Qualifier, Challenger and then the final. The league phase ends on July 23 and the playoff action starts the very next day on July 24 with the final set to take place on July 28.

A total of 25 matches will be played across two venues - Church Street Park in Morrisville and Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. While the first 15 matches will be split between the two venues, the final six round robin matches and the playoffs will be held in Dallas, Texas.

When is MLC 2024 starting and ending?

The second season of Major League Cricket will start on July 5 and end with the final on July 28. Due to time difference, the event starts on July 6 and ends on July 29 in the Asian continent, including India and Pakistan.

What time do MLC 2024 matches start?

There are three different start times with the earliest start being 3 PM Local Time (7 PM GMT / 12 AM PKT & 12:30 AM IST), followed by a second start time of 3:30 PM Local Time (7:30 PM GMT / 12:30 AM PKT & 1 AM IST).

The third start time is a night match, which starts at 7:30 PM Local Time (12:30 AM GMT / 5:30 AM PKT & 6 AM IST on the next day due to time difference). Most matches start at 7:30 PM Local Time.
